The United States Marine Corps have 2 missions:
to win battles and make Marines.
The United States Marine Corps Reservists have a motto “Every Child Deserves a Little Christmas”.
All this started for me 35 years ago when my son, Jack D’Aleo joined the United States Marine Corps. While he was on active duty he introduced me to the Marines’ dedication to this worthy cause and as I became more involved, buying toys and going down to Broadhead in Detroit to separate boys, girls and ages. I realized that I could contribute a lot more to the program if I threw a party to collect toys, and Angie’s Toy Chest was created. As you all know my passion for this program has grown every year and so has the party.
For many years we were the largest privately sponsored one night event in the country, due to the generosity of the people who attend every year.
Remember your toy may be the only one a children receives Christmas morning, so let us not forget why we do this.
The goal of this program is to deliver a new toy, a message of hope to a child. Something they will never forget that will assist them in becoming responsible, patriotic citizens and some day pay it forward. Remember the Marine Motto: “Every Child Deserves a Little Christmas”

I have been self-employed for 22 years, I own a landscape company servicing the tri-county areas. I also own a Christmas lighting company “Creation of Christmas”. My passion is Christmas decorating and lighting. I enjoy making my customers happy during the Holiday Season, and nothing is more exciting than seeing a Child’s face light up with joy and receiving many complements on my displays. In my free time I also enjoy cooking, boating and golfing.
I grew up in St. Clair Shores and attended South Lake High School, moved to Fraser 20 years ago and have been here ever since. I am single, but the love of my life is my niece Adrianna, she brings me more joy then anything.
I am very excited to bring BACK Angie’s Toy Chest. I have been a friend of Angie’s for a long time. Just the idea of putting a smile on one child’s face is enough, but I have been blessed to have the opportunity to put that same smile on a hundred faces. Christmas was always big in my family, and I am so happy to carry on the tradition. Life has been good to me, and now it is my turn to give back. I want to give back to the children and the community I love.

Pamela is an attorney for the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission. She began her work for Angie’s Toy Chest in 2016 when her husband, Paul, was a board member. She renewed her dedication to the charity in 2023, and now is honored to serve as Secretary on the board.

As a Sgt and SSgt he made two deployments to Iraq for the initial invasion in 2003 and then again in 2004 participating in Operation Vigilant Resolve. After he left active duty in 2008 David served with the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection as the Director of a joint Intelligence team on Selfridge ANG Base until he retired from federal service in 2019 and went full time with the Macomb County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff. David's personal decorations include the Joint Service Commendation, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (5th award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3rd award), Army Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (2nd award). David was also awarded the 2012 DHS Intelligence Leadership Award.
David initially got involved with the Toys for Tots program while a kid in the Young Marines where he would volunteer countless hours counting and sorting toys in the warehouse. After joining the Marine Corps David would continue participation in the Toys for Tots program especially when he left active-duty in 2008 and returned to the reserves. David was then fortunate enough to encounter Angie and Angie's Toy Chest which impressed him as one of the finest Toys for Tots events he had attended, especially known for providing so many new bicycles to children. David was thrilled when Angie invited him to participate in the Board of Directors and is very excited for this great organization to be active again supporting such a great cause.

If you know Angie the way I do when she told me she was starting a charity that was part of the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots program I felt it would be a great charity to get involved with because of my Father's service. Then I was told I would be a member of her board. No body says no to her! That was 30 years ago and I am still honored to be apart of her team, she gives all she has to this cause, her dedication is amazing to make sure "Every Child Deserves a Little Christmas" become a reality.

I have a passion for organizing fundraisers, musical events, and have for the past 20 years. This includes Leader Dog,
Wounded Warrior, Physically Challenged children and now Toys for Tots. I‘ve been involved with various 501(c)3 and 501(c)
8 organizations such as the Elks, Eagles, Lions, Moose and currently Angie‘s Toy Chest.
It is my belief that these organizations are such an integral piece of our society, as there are so many who can benefit.
